The Spot is an acrylic painting residing on a thrifted wooden canvas. Many fairies, bugs, snails and other woodland creatures come and go from this spot to have a moment to themselves to rest during their lengthy travels.

This painting is one I hold near and dear to my heart because it represents a place, a warm place that you can go to to feel safe. Everybody has or knows a spot where they can go to just exist and everything else fades away. For me- I bike down a path in a green valley with a bridge that overlooks a small flowing creek. I wanted to communicate the feeling I get whenever I am there alone in a small painting. I want this painting to evoke comfort, peace and that one feeling you get when you are ethereally happy.
