Solstice is a symmetrical sun oil painting containing elements of intricate design, mystery, life and warmth- much resembling the beauty of the universe and the comfort of knowing that we’ll never truly understand how beautiful and intricate it is. I like to think of Solstice as a personal sun friend cleansing the safe space, making it warmer, and more full of mystery and wonder. This is my first finished oil painting and I hope it’s a source of comfort for my fellow whimsical folk.
