A Forgotten Tail is a painting of a mermaid floating above an ocean floor. This piece represents how magic, wonder and beauty can still be found even though it may be tricky to find and is buried deep in the vast ocean of your mind and imagination. However, all you have to do is look the right way and you’ll see the buried treasure. This piece is one of my most favourite paintings I have created. It is a metallic acrylic painting on a black canvas that deeply resonated with me, the idea of growing up and leaving a chapter behind that I desperately want to flip back to once in a while to feel wonder again. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
